Somatic Psychotherapist, Yoga Educator, & Mentor

Curious, Intense, Embodied

These are the words that are often used to describe my relationship to working as a healing professional. I am curious about the ways that human beings cultivate resiliency despite the challenges and stressors they may face day to day. My intensity arises from a deep desire to be thoughtful and intentional in my words and actions. Being embodied means that the way I show up in the world is rooted in my body’s inherent wisdom.

With over two decades of yoga and movement practice, I seek to explore the relationship we have with our bodies to the relationships we have with others through awareness, presence, and connection.

Work With ME

Somatic Psychotherapy

Somatic psychotherapy or body-based approaches to therapy, utilize the body-mind network in the healing process. In addition to dialogue, a session may include opportunities to explore the body’s sensations in response to trauma, prolonged stress, and major life transitions. I currently see clients at Heart Stone Counseling in South Portland. Schedule a FREE 15-minute consultation to see if this is a good fit.

Yoga Teacher’s Mentorship Group

Developing Somatic Awareness to Teach with Integrity and Authenticity

A Six-Month In-Person Mentorship

Rather than learning another technique or modality, this mentorship group is an opportunity to invite more of yourself into your teaching no matter how many years of experience you have.

Begins March 7, 2025

Weekly Hatha Yoga Class

Tuesdays 4:00 pm

The Portland Yoga Project (Forest Ave.)

In Hatha Yoga, you will practice a series of standing and seated poses with longer holds in each position. Hatha classes do not include "vinyasas," and we often use walls and props to help explore the details of effort and sensation.
